Motivation

The latest comprehensive printed work on the subject, Biographical Dictionary of Medallists (Q25081818) by Leonard Forrer (Q19840735), has been published more than 100 years ago. For many people involved in the creation and production of coins (mint officials and artists alike), biographical data are still left to be desired.
