Motivation[edit]
MangaUpdates has a huge database of approximately 200k mangas and webcomics, and it would always be better to have more datapoints when trying to resolve manga information. The database is constantly growing as new mangas are created. RPI2026F1 (talk) 00:32, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

Strong support It would be nice if we also have author ID. Laftp0 (talk) 23:46, 18 October 2022 (UTC)- I agree about the author ID. They follow the same format as the manga/series IDs but have the format

Done as MangaUpdates manga ID (P11149). I used MyAnimeList manga ID (P4087) as a blueprint which seemed to have more specific constraints. Let me know on my talk page if any issues pops up with it. Infrastruktur (talk) 19:02, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
