Motivation[edit]
Vidwan is a database developed and maintained by National Mission on Education through Information and Communication and Technology (NMEICT) project undertaken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This database maintains profiles of scientists and academicians involved in research and teaching in different institutes in India.
