Motivation[edit]
youtube now has handles. Similar to twitter. They are much easier to gather than YouTube channel ID (P2397) and are also unique and human-readable --Loominade (talk) 14:42, 21 November 2022 (UTC)

Comment Hmm, I think it should be made clearer how this property is to interact with YouTube channel ID (P2397). Should the latter be changed to be recommended as a qualifier of this new property, as is the case with X username (P2002) and X numeric user ID (P6552)? I.e., should we set YouTube channel ID (P2397)property constraint (P2302)property scope constraint (Q53869507)property scope (P5314)as qualifier (Q54828449)? --Waldyrious (talk) 17:43, 28 November 2022 (UTC) - I agree this should be clarified. - Comment YouTube channel ID (P2397) is also used for topic channels (e.g. game pages), which don’t have handles —MSMST1543 (talk) 06:05, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
