Motivation

English:

We have many properties for external identifiers but nothing for the product codes. Furthermore, a same product can have many product codes. We could do a research with the product code for finding the element. YotaMoteuchi (talk) 17:19, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

Par ailleurs, nous pouvons avoir plusieurs codes produits pour un même produit vendu par un éditeur de livres, jeux, disques... : une recherche sur le code produit permettrait de trouver quel est l'élément en question.       • I'm not convinced by your argues: catalog here should be linked to an artistic point of view (like "opus" for a composer and so on). Check also Property talk:P528 where "product code" is not mentioned. YotaMoteuchi (talk) 22:49, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Here, if this property is not raised (which should be easier I think), an alternative solution should be to use the property P528 as already said with a catalogue identifier. As this catalogue identifier doesn't exist in the majority of the cases (I would say "in all cases"), then a catalogue item needs to be raised when it's needed (by example : "Le Livre de Poche catalogue", "Stuffed Monkey catalogue", "Elite catalogue", and so on...
