Motivation[edit]

Expertes (Q28494544) is a website that lists women experts in different fields. Most (All?) of them work in France and Maghreb (Tunisia, Algeria). This project is supported by several media in France. A warning with "Les expertes". It's in reality a collection of 5 sites : Les expertes France (refered in the proposal), and 4 derived sites : Francophonie, Tunisie, Algerie and Genre), and maybe more to come as it seems to be a trend. See the french Wikipedia article for details. The identifiers seem to be shared (a same database for all sites), and you can display one expert on a not-native site (for example Sarah Cohen-Boulakia on the Tunisian version).

I think this must be explained in the property definition, to accept all identifiers. Secondary, and we need a qualifier (or another method ?) to express the preferred site to use for url display, not necessarily the French one. GAllegre (talk) 14:22, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ce n'est effectivement pas un site institutionnel ; plutôt un site militant, mais relativement établi. Il est notamment financé/soutenu par un groupement de médias (expertes France), et par des pays via leur ambassade en France (Algérie, Tunisie). Cela dit, effectivement, la pérennité de ce type de site peut être soumise à aléas, notamment des changements politiques chez les financeurs. GAllegre (talk) 19:04, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
