  •  Withdrawn Makes sense. I created this proposal because I had the sense that there was some broad opposition to qualifying subclass of (P279) but I would also prefer modeling it this way. --Push-f (talk) 17:41, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
    • @Push-f: Thanks. I also think I've come across some opposition to qualifying subclass of (P279), but I don't know how broad it is and I certainly don't understand it. Qualifying in this way gives the criteria by which a subclass is distinguished from its parent class; where better to identify those criteria than on the subclass of (P279) statement itself?
