Motivation

English:

I discovered than some video games were re-released by a company which didn't were the one who originally released these games. I don't think than using the property P123 is legitimate in that case. That's why I suggest to create this new property. This case can be seen also for books, movies and so on as suggested in the examples above.

J'ai découvert que quelques jeux vidéo ont été réédités par des sociétés qui n'étaient pas celle qui les avait édités à l'origine. Je ne pense pas qu'utiliser la propriété P123 est pertinent dans ce cas. C'est pourquoi je suggère la création de cette nouvelle propriété. •  Oppose I think the way forward here is a more complex data model for video games, and separating games, edition and local releases (this is sketched out in User:Jean-Frédéric/Videogames data model or User:Diggr/Data_Models_of_Video_Games). In such a setup, we would have a different item for the réédition/republication, which would have publisher (P123). Also, one of the examples is about a book, but books already implement a model where each edition is a separate item ; and music albums might be heading there (if the whole set of MusicBrainz properties is to be believed.)
