Motivation[edit]
oftentimes I'm calculating what someone's birth year is based on a publication that mentions their age. To keep this clear I add quotation (P1683) that says "30 years old" in the reference. I came across age of subject at event (P3629) and that gave me the idea that a property that could be a better way to get this across. Or would allowing P3629 as a qualifier in the reference a better idea. Not just in the date of birth reference could this property be used: Susanne Schilderman (Q83364897) became a party member at 16 for instance. 1Veertje (talk) 23:23, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
Discussion[edit]
- Weak oppose This muddles the distinction between data and the references. When it comes to the examples, I don't see how this property can be used to say "member since". ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 16:32, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Using age of subject at event (P3629) in references should be sufficient. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 21:49, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Tinker Bell its property scope (P5314) as a as qualifier (Q54828449) makes that impossible. 1Veertje (talk) 17:28, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
