Hi, I'd like to nominate myself for adminship here on Wikidata. I've been editing here since February 20 and have racked up a little over 1000 edits. I've also been active at RFD and occasionally showing up at PFD, so I hope you'll consider me for adminship. Thank you. --...Jakob Megaphone, Telescope 12:55, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- As it would take 12 support !votes (very unlikely given the turnout so far), I'm withdrawing. Thank you all for the feedback (I'll take it in account) and maybe I'll request again in 3-4 months. ...Jakob Megaphone, Telescope 19:39, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose I don't feel that this user is familiar enough with Wikidata/Wikimedia norms to be an admin - starting two ill-scoped RFCs (1, 2) for example, and some off-base comments in quite a few places. --Rschen7754 13:01, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- The first RFC you're talking about should have been closed a while ago and the second resulted in a new guideline (vandalism does exist here). ...Jakob Megaphone, Telescope 15:07, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, after my colleague completely redid the guideline. --Rschen7754 18:35, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- I hate the idea that adminship should be a big deal, but the one thing that I think is critical for adminship is responding to complaints and comments. Your user talk page still contains two messages from me that you never responded to. You didn't need to apologize or anything for the honest mistakes you made (in fact, I hesitate to even call them mistakes), but when I tell a recent-changes patroller that they've misread a situation, it's useful for me to know that they understand. I certainly wouldn't want to be in the situation of not knowing if a fellow administrator could be counted upon to respond to notes about their actions, so for that reason I think I have to oppose for the time being. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 16:06, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose I always find opposing difficult, especially on Wikidata, which has kept its requirements for adminship pretty low, but I just don't think that you're ready right now. Two and a half months and 1000 edits is a good start, but I want to see a little more. The RfCs Rschen7754 brought up really don't bother me, and I find that kind of thinking to be a good sign, but PinkAmpersand's concern is one that warrants addressing.
