Addbot[edit]
Addbot (talk • contribs • new items • new lexemes • SUL • Block log • User rights log • User rights • xtools)
Operator: Addshore (talk • contribs • logs)
Task/s: Creating links between items that it finds while trawling wikipedia articles. (ie. use of wdlinktitles)
Function details:
- As Addbot currently scans every wikipedia page with interwiki links still on them it seems stupid not to add this function (this is long overdue).
- The bot will only actually use one function of the wikidata api for this (to link 2 language pages) which cannot really go wrong and for which there are already many bots approved.
- The edit rate is likely to be high but this should clean up the majority of iw links that are still left on wikis

- I'd ask you to make a trial run, but we're stopping most bots because of Wikidata_talk:Bots#bot_moratorium. Once that is over, please do a trial of ~50 edits. Legoktm (talk) 16:17, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
