I would like to help translation admins and other users with translating Wikidata. I'm a professional translator (Russian <> English) and a Russian Wikipedia administrator. --Michgrig (talk) 19:39, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

- Support I would have preferred a full adminship request, but if you're fine with translation administrator, then so be it :) — ΛΧΣ21 06:56, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

- You mean, as a translator or as an admin? As a translator, yes; as an admin, no. --Michgrig (talk) 06:23, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

I have begun to translate here, and found that in several cases the translation units are too big to easily manage by the translators (like the lists in Wikidata:Notability and the table in Help:Sources to name 2 examples). It is difficult to track changes in such big units. I would like to help improve such cases by becoming a translation administrator.
Experience: 2,000+ translations on translatewiki, 16,000+ edits on Danish Wikipedia, 100+ edits here on Wikidata.
Best regards, Byrial (talk) 17:26, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
On hold – I temporary withdraw this request while waiting for the RFC for new policy as asked by Vogone. Byrial (talk) 20:46, 13 April 2013 (UTC)- As the RFC for new policy for translation administrators ended today with a new consensus, I hereby reopen this request. Support obviously … but I ask you to withdraw this nomination and wait until the current RFC is closed. We can promote you faster then. Regards, Vogone talk 17:37, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

I am one of the patrollers of Turkish Wikipedia and I translated numerous English Wikipedia articles (like Selena Quintanilla Perez or Zac Efron article) to Turkish Wikipedia and I also have 4 years of experience in Wikipedia. I think that's enough to translate some Wikidata term to Turkish one. Therefore I need this right to do what I write. Thank you for your support. --İnsanperver (talk) 22:41, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

- Translationadminship isn't actually needed for translating pages, just for managing them. Do you have any previous experience with the translate extension, and especially with translationadminship elsewhere? Regards, Vogone talk 22:46, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- I have experience with translate and also I've been a member of Wikipedia Translation Team. But I haven't been in any administration of Wikipedia. --İnsanperver (talk) 09:01, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
- Do you know what translationadminship is, and for which tasks it is needed for? Regards, Vogone talk 12:06, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
