Making sure every current head of government has a replaces (P1365) statement to indicate their predecessor. You can use this report to see where help is still needed.

Data known to be currently broken

• This list shows Abdul Kabir as the prime minister of Afghanistan, but the current prime minister is Hasan Akhund. What's odd is that Hasan Akhund has position held as prime minister, so perhaps there's a problem with the query that creates the list.

We previously ran Missions to get many aspects of the data complete. But we should keep revisiting them to check they’re still correct:

Offices

• Does every country have an office held by head of government (P1313)?

• Does every country have the current head of government (P6) listed?

Ensure that only heads of government who have taken office are listed.

As people tend to add them after elections, these should have "deprecated rank" until the person has actually taken office. This avoids that lists generated based on our data don't include people who may never take office (e.g. repeat the problem with Austria in 2016). Statements with deprecated rank wont appear on the lists.

• Report:P39/Q13406463 — does anyone have a position held (P39) of a List Item of a head of government (Q2285706) rather than the position itself?
• Report:P1313/P1001 — does each office set as each country's office held by head of government (P1313) has its applies to jurisdiction (P1001) set to the same place?

An experimental reports shows data from multiple different routes:

  • Contrast Report:Head of Government/problems — countries where the data is inconsistent
