- Abstract
- Being informed about information on Wikidata with task automation via IFTTT is a great thing to do especially if you have so much on your desk and can't remember to do smaller routines on a daily basis but still want to stay informed with recent happenings. This talk will share with participants on how to use Wikidata and IFTTT to keep a user(s) informed always using Wikidata and IFTTT.
- What will attendees take away from this session?
- They will learn and understand how Wikidata and IF This Then That (IFTTT) can help in the automation of tasks and how to use these tools/projects to connect the world and keep the world stay updated with recent information with data from Wikidata.
- Attendees will also learn how to create applets formally known as recipes to aid in task automation and say updated with time and also how to use IFTTT and Wikidata.
