- Abstract
Looking at the number of facts concerning those who haved lived in or currently live in Africa (In fact, everything about Africa), we notice that there are fewer facts on blacks. This has been noticed while editing Wikidata and after discussing with the affiliate user group and also one active Wikidata editor (Jonathan Groß) who finds it interesting to talk about this to the community, then this comes to highlight the ways we can increase the number of facts about africa on Wikidata.
- What will attendees take away from this session?
- They will get the strategies which they can also improve in the number of facts concerning their country or region of origin.
- Also, these attendees will be aware of how they can develop interest to make Wikidata better by relying solely not on modifying existing records but dwell more on adding records about themselves and their society which they themselves might not be aware of.
