Policies[edit]

Did not we decide that it is too early to have crats? Or am I missing something?--Ymblanter (talk) 11:34, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, most users (including me) were against bureaucrats in January. I am not sure whether that changed but there was always a section on WD:RFP for bureaucratship. I just created a subpage for RFBs like they exist for almost all other user rights. Regards, Vogone talk 11:44, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but it is transcluded to RFP, which gives impression that there is consensus. May be we should add that so far there was no consensus that crats are needed, and one needs to determine it before nominating anybody.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:58, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think this discussion on WT:Bureaucrats is binding and if a mojority still does not want 'crats, the nominated candidate will probably not pass. But you can open a new poll, if you want to know the current opinion of the community. Regards, Vogone talk 12:09, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Usefulness of an application[edit]

Hello @Lymantria, Ymblanter:
Would another bureaucrat be helpful? It seems to me that applications for rights will grow with the appeal of WD. In view of these deficient needs, in a more or less near future, I would be interested to give support in this direction. So does my application seem useful and reasonable? I ask you the question before proposing my services as admin.
Best regards. —Eihel (talk) 21:36, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I personally would say right now we are fine, but there is nothing wrong in having more crats. Some people ran and did not make it, some did and made it.--Ymblanter (talk) 21:40, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
