This page aims to help you to find geocoordinates so that you can add them to Wikidata. A coordinate location is a kind of statement. If it is not already present, you can add it by clicking "Add" at the end of the statement list.
Some of the CC-0 compliant geographic databases are the following
- Geonames,
- whosonfirst
- GIS portals run by Bharatmaps for India (example Andhra Pradesh State GIS portal)
These can be made use of to find coordinates. Mass import of coordinates from commercial mapping services or OpenStreetMap violates the licenses of those providers.( guidance about import from OSM)
