Programs in production
Se il programma è ancora in produzione, idealmente non si dovrebbe aggiornare la proprietà prima della trasmissione di un nuovo episodio. Poiché aggiornamenti settimanali o giornalieri sono difficili da portare avanti per ogni programma in onda, solo quando una nuova stagione è cominciata e una fonte affidabile che indica quanti episodi saranno inclusi in quella stagione è disponibile, è possibile anche aggiornare il valore esistente (o aggiungerne uno nuovo) con il totale degli episodi che il programma comprenderà alla fine della trasmissione della stagione stessa.
The number of episode should be qualified:
- with point in time (P585) to indicate when a given number is correct.
- with criterion used (P1013) to indicate what this refers to. Values can be:
The date for number of episodes aired (Q39242248) shouldn't be in the future.
Using number of episodes at the end of the current season or of the last season aired (Q39239591) has the advantage that updates need be done only once per season.
If there are several values for the same criterion used (P1013), the most recent one should get preferred rank.
Programs that ended
In general, only the total number of episodes is stored.
If there are several ways of counting this, in rare cases, there may be multiple values. Add a qualifier to indicate how it is determined.
In general, attempt to follow the way the producer counts the number of episodes. Bear in mind the difference between two-part episode (Q21664088) and segment of a television episode (Q29555881).
