Values[edit]

Currently this property is fitted to the internal WissKI item IDs which are semi-stable and unique but may be occasionally subject to change. The database hosts are preparing the assignment of DOIs for the individual entries, but it is unclear when these will be implemented. Until then Wikidata may use the WissKI IDs. Matching with Wikidata[edit]

For the time being, only part of the Propylaeum-VITAE entities are being matched to Wikidata. This includes the biograms (items for people) who are marked as "publiziert" in the database (i.e. not "work in progress", "Nebenperson" etc.).

The data for Places, Conventions and Institutions is still very much work in progress and notti be considered authoritative, according to the database curators. They decided to model their items according to GND standards, and as the GND is still lacking in parts of these areas, data is sometimes unreliable or imcomplete.

For the matching with Wikidata I created a Mix'n'match catalogue which I'll update once matching is complete, and maybe in konthly intervals from that point on. Jonathan Groß (talk) 16:29, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
