Qualifier only?

Why is property scope limited to as qualifier (Q54828449)? This seems as appropriate as main property value for rock types that are mined in specific location, e.g. Halland gneiss (Q19861577). 2001:7D0:81F7:B580:1D2:6477:60FF:CDDD 08:09, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

As 43% of uses of this property are as a main value it's clear that restricting it to a qualifier is wrong so I've changed that. Thryduulf (talk) 10:34, 14 October 2022 (UTC)

Source of leaked documents

This property is used on Luxembourg leaks, Panama Papers and FinCEN Files to denote the person that leaked the documents, but I am not sure the property is the correct one. My guess is this property needs to be extended to include that use or another property should be created (if a property already exists, I have not been able to find it).Nuretok (talk) 18:49, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

Such use of this property quite surely isn't wanted. Material as substance and material as data, documents etc. are distinct. It shouldn't be expected that labels translate the same to all languages. Perhaps English label of this property can be altered so that would be harder to mix the two. participant (P710), along with object has role (P3831) qualifer, would probably be better option to link persons in these examples. 2001:7D0:81DA:F780:F86B:62:44AF:BF54 06:59, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for your comment. I applied it to all three cases and also changed it on Paradise Papers (Q42722842). However, I am unsure what a better wording for this property could be. Nuretok (talk) 20:16, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
