Copyright infringement

Prabook is a copyright-infringing partial mirror of the English Wikipedia, as discussed at w:en:Wikipedia:Mirrors_and_forks/PQR#Prabook. I'm not sure whether it's appropriate to link it, but it's certainly not recommendable to use it as a source. Nemo 12:24, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

Known common errors

While much of the content of Prabook comes from printed biographical directories like Who's Who in America (Q26256302), it often introduces significant transcription errors and typos. Since Mix-n-Match catalog has the potential to import lots of errors, it's good to be aware of them (or at least their potential). Errors I commonly see include conflating "March" and "May" in dates of birth and death, and mistaking initials E., W., N. S. as cardinal directions: e.g. someone named "Smith, John W." becomes "Smith, John West". I think the most ridiculous name mangling I've seen so far is turning Owen Cadogan Wolley-Dod (Q115704495) into Owen Cadogan WOLLEY-Department Of Defense. Be aware.
