Mix'n'match

[edit]

I have created a catalogue on Mix'n'match that contains 717 Crunchyroll anime series. Help matching would be appreciated. --Lewis Hulbert (talk) 18:32, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Lewis Hulbert: Thanks for creating that Mix'n'match catalogue, I've gone through and finished connecting all the series that have existing properties. I was wondering if you could run your automated web scraping again for any recent series? Thanks! Jeanjung212 (talk) 18:30, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeanjung212: Thanks for the work matching them! I ran the scraper again (not sure why it wasn't running automatically like it was supposed to...) and now there's a few more records to match. --Lewis Hulbert (talk) 13:18, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also use for episodes?

[edit]

can we also use this property for individual episodes? The regular expression suggests otherwise. but why not? --Shisma (talk) 16:36, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Look likes should like to propose it as another property, the link URL format is "https://www.crunchyroll.com/watch/$1" where the parameter is the episode ID. The existing one should be split out as series (https://www.crunchyroll.com/series/$1) or manga (https://www.crunchyroll.com/comics/manga/$1) strings as well. Deprecated

[edit]

This property is now deprecated. There is a new property in the property proposal queue waiting to be created. While the identifiers do work, they are redirects to a different URL schema, and that should be the primary ID. See Wikidata_talk:WikiProject_Anime_and_Manga#Crunchyroll_changed_their_ID_schema.
