How to link to WikiProject subpages?[edit]

With the old P4570 (P4570) property we were able to link to WikiProject subpages that hold specific information about the entity using P4570 (P4570). This is no longer possible, so which qualifier do we use now to link to a WikiProject subpage? —MisterSynergy (talk) 11:07, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@MisterSynergy: Can you please give an example?--Micru (talk) 12:15, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Some of these claims point to WikiProject subpages, e.g.:. Since WikiProject subpages are usually not linked to items, we cannot replace this claim 1:1 with the new property maintained by WikiProject (P6104). There is only WikiProject Computer Science (Q6526225), which needs a qualifier (with URL data type). —MisterSynergy (talk) 12:22, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What do you need to link to the subpage for? Why is it not enough linking to the WikiProject? I would like to understand your user case better and what you get out of it.--Micru (talk) 12:27, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well-designed WikiProjects may consist of several subpages where the use of items/properties that carry a maintained by WikiProject (P6104) statements is explained in detail, and maintained. It would be useful to link directly to the subpage, rather than to the (not-so-interesting) WikiProject landing page. —MisterSynergy (talk) 12:31, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The previous property was not highly used, and the number of subpages linked is pretty low. However, if you feel that you need to link a high number of items/properties to a subpage, you can always create an item to represent that subpage.--Micru (talk) 12:51, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would be more appropriate to use an URL data type qualifier. I just don’t know which one, as I am not using URL properties a lot. —MisterSynergy (talk) 12:54, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The problem with using URL is that you cannot see from the linked page what is linking there. If you think it is a must, you can add the url as a reference using Wikimedia import URL (P4656).--Micru (talk) 13:11, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In focus of project or in list or maintained...?[edit]

What's clear difference from on focus list of Wikimedia project (P5008)? --Infovarius (talk) 12:04, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
