Superseded 2014 project on English Wikipedia[edit]

In 2014 I set up en:Wikipedia:WikiProject Transporter Classification Database imagining that I could organize taking content from this database for English Wikipedia. In hindsight that was the incorrect direction and Wikidata is for this kind of content. I am happy to see that 6 September 2019 now this is a Wikidata property and people have mapped the connections. @SCIdude: thanks for proposing and @ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2, ChristianKl: thanks for reviewing. @Bluerasberry: Your WP effort was not in vain, the articles are now linked with the items that have the TCDB ID, so that articles can automatically retrieved for IDs that have one. As to the overall progress with this please see:
Note also that we use mapping relation type extensively to qualify the item<-->id mapping. --SCIdude (talk) 14:04, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
