Planes To Salute Eddie Schneider. Jersey City, New Jersey. A wish often expressed by Eddie Schneider, former Locust, New Jersey pilot, who died in an airplane crash Monday, will be fulfilled by his flying mates as his body is lowered into a crypt in Fairview Cemetery, North Bergen. Low-flying planes will drop roses upon the grave during rites at the grave. Schneider was 29 years old and had been living in Queens, working at Floyd Bennett field as a flying instructor. He was tutoring a student flier Monday when his plane smashed into a naval training plane. The flier had won wide fame in aviation, having set many early flying records. He fought in the Loyalist flying corps in the Spanish Civil War. (English)
