Dumating sa Cebu ang unang labingtatlong misyonerong Agustino Rekoleto sa pangunguna ni Padre Juan de San Jeronimo, 12 Mayo 1606. Naghimpil sa San Juan Bautista de Bagumbayan (ngayon ay Liwasang Rizal), Maynila. Naging kongregasyon ang mga Rekoleto, 5 Hunyo 1621. Itinatag ang Provincia de San Nicolas de Tolentino sa Pilipinas, 23 Nobyembre 1621. Nagtatag ng mga bayan at nagtayo ng mga simbahan, moog, estansya, prinsa, tulay, kalsada at paaralan sa Pilipinas. Isinalin sa kanila ang pamamahala ng mga parokyang iniwan ng mga Heswita, 1788. Lumaganap pa ang mga gawaing panrelihiyon mula Pilipinas patungong Hapon, Tsina, Colombia, Taiwan at Aprika. Itinatag ang Provincia de San Ezekiel Moreno, 28 Nobyembre 1998. (Tagalog)
