Mga ilustrado ng Bikol na dinakip at nilitis ng Komisyong Militar noong 29 Disyembre 1896 sa bintang na balak na pagpatay sa lahat ng Kastila sa iba’t ibang dako ng Kabikulan. Walang kasalanan sa krimeng ibinibintang sa kanila. Sila ay binaril sa Luneta, Maynila, noong 4 Enero 1897.<br><br>Mga binaril: Domingo Abella, Manuel Abella, P. Severino Diaz, P. Inocencio Herrera, Camilo Jacob, Florencio Lerma, Mariano Melgarejo, Cornelio Mercado, P. Gabriel Prieto, Tomas Prieto at Macario Valentin. Namatay sa bilangguan: Leon Hernandez at Mariano Ordenanza. Namatay samantalang tapon: Ramon Abella at Mariano Araña.<br><br>Ang bangkay ng mga martir na ito ay inilagak sa iisang hukay na hindi natunton kailanman. (Tagalog)
