Joined the Revolution becoming chief adviser of General Emilio Aguinaldo. Struck with paralysis, January, 1896. Imprisoned by the Spaniards, following October; by the Americans, 1899. Exiled to Guam, January 15, 1901; returned February 26, 1903; died in Manila, May 13, 1903. (English)
