Pretrial notes: Accused was named, with several others, by Janet Coutts (C/EGD/1817). Local ministers investigated and commission requested from Committee of Estates. Janet Coutts was meant to be brought to confront the accused but this does not appear to have happened. Most of the other accused were dismissed but nothing was recorded about Acheson. (English)
