    Statements

Trial notes: Absolved from all accusations apart from using the thread as a charm. The jury found her guilty of this and suggested that it warranted death but they would leave this to the judge to decide. Final sentence was that this crime did not justify death but she was to be banished from the sheriffdom of Aberdeen. If she was found within 12 miles of the boundaries she would be executed as a witch. (English)
