    The historical marker is located at the extreme right of the facade of the old chapel of the school. (English)

    This College was founded in 1740 by Rev. Felix Trillo, O.S.A. with the assistance of Pedro and Rita Quijano, for the education of girls. The building was occupied by the British after the expulsion of the Spanish forces. It was greatly damaged by the earthquakes of 1880. (English)
