“I grew up in Lower Haifa. I spent the first five years of my life with five people in the room, with the toilet and the kitchen outside. I was bathed in a laundry tub. We were the last Jews in the building. It was an Arab building, you know, very poor, very wretched, with high ceilings. (English)
