      O líder indígena Paulinho Paiakan morreu na madrugada desta quarta (17). O cacique de 67 anos estava internado no Hospital Regional Público do Araguaia, no Pará. Ele era um defensor dos direitos indígenas e, na década de 80, foi uma voz a favor da demarcação de terras indígenas. Já em 1998, foi condenado a seis anos de prisão por estupro, pena que foi cumprida em parte em sua aldeia. (portugisisk (Brasil))
