You call this book a begging book because you have asked poets, painters and scholars to make a contribution. If I should ever publish my poems then the content would be symbolised by a frontispiece showing the 'The rhyme school of the goddesses of song'. Now that I look at your book, I see that such a print would also be suitable here and that is why I have pasted it in. (English)

You need the blessing of Apollo in order to write poetry. The Muses may beckon from Parnassus but the mountain is high and steep. If you succeed in reaching the top then the crown of laurels awaits you but you will first have to work hard for it. (English)
