The efforts of many people ensured the survival of Aberdeen Arts Centre when it was threatened with closure in 1998. Without the leadership and determination of ANNIE INGLIS the campaign may not have succeeded. The Arts Centre was eventually leased to Castlegate Arts Limited, a charitable trust, on 27th February 2001. (English)
