Mixed I two persons with same name
[edit]@Kolja21: I start with LCCN and the mentioned work "Contemp. Amer. musical theater, opera, and experimental music theater" from 1985, which seems to be the final work for receiving the doctor grade.
next step: In Google Books Page 16 (but be aware, there is more than one page 16, so search for "Marx") left column/bottom a reference of the Work "Contemporary American musical theater, opera, and experimental music theater", the same work as in LCCN and at the very bottom of page 18 "Robert Marx has been director of the New York State Council on the Arts Theater Program." So I added employer (P108)
next step: I found https://vailsymposium.org/speaker/robert-marx/ where I read "From 1987-1989 Mr. Marx was Director of the National Endowment for the Arts Theatre Program and was Director of the New York State Council on the Arts Theatre Program from 1976-1983"
last step: And then I found Funding Report 1980 - 81.pdf of "NEW YOKK STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS" on Page 159 the name "Robert Marx" as director of the Theatre Program (3rd column, bottom). Since this is dates January 1982 I wonder if this is the same person, since writing the paper for the doctor grade and working at the same time as director does not match very well? --Wurgl (talk) 06:30, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
--Kolja21 (talk) 18:05, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Wurgl Ich glaube, das Verständnisproblem ist die Zeile His Contemp. Amer. musical theater, opera, and experimental music theater, c1985:t.p. (Robert Marx) p. 151 (doctorate, Yale Sch. of Drama; dir., Bellagio Conf. on Intl. Exchange in the Perf. Arts). FYI @Kolja21. --Emu (talk) 19:22, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- Klasse! --Wurgl (talk) 20:00, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- Done Jetzt mit GND 1326119745. --Kolja21 (talk) 22:37, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
