"quantity of dimension one" vs "dimensionless quantity"[edit]
Hello @Mwtoews: The standards prefer the label "quantity of dimension one" and mention "dimensionless quantity" only for "historical" reasons. I added some references. Is the goal to keep the preferred label in sync with Wikipedia? Note that the English Wikipedia also mentions (in boldface) "quantity of dimension one", and the German Wikipedia has already switched to the modern term ("Größe der Dimension Zahl"). - Hi @Toni 001:, thanks for clarifying the references for this aspect. While I have no strong stance on the matter, it seems that the primary English label should generally be the most common name for the topic, which is generally the same as English Wikipedia title. I don't see "quantity of dimension one" discussed any further in either the main article or the talk page, so this appears to be a lesser-known name in English. I can always be convinced otherwise. - Thanks. Well, I don't have a strong opinion. The "recommended" term appears as alias, which means that this item can be found. And the meaning is fixed, no matter the "primary" label, so I'm fine either way. Toni 001 (talk) 13:33, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
