Watch out to use this item with P31. In some languages the item is only a 'list', but in other langues it may be a full article. If one of the languese does not describe the item as a list, this should not be used as a P31 claim since it is not true. So it can not be added by a bot (or evaluate each language entry if it is a 'list') user:Michiel1972 22:51, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- A list article is in nearly every case describing a class of items. Articles which only have a list of links with no covering text can be considered to be works in progress, waiting for someone to add the description paragraph. Therefore, in my opinion, 'instance of (P31)' can link to list articles. Filceolaire (talk) 17:07, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- Could you explain this? List articles can have both linked and non-linked items, I think. I think what you said and what Michiel said, are not in conflict with each other. Michiel said basically that an item can have language (interwiki) links to articles of different kinds on the several Wikipedias, so the property would not apply to all linked articles.
