Programming languages[edit]

Hello

I'd like to notify everyone that removed programming language claims that belonged to Windows NT. Windows is much wider than that.

Remove preferred rank for "instance of" "operating system"[edit]

{{Edit request}}

I see no reason why that statement should be preferred over the other "instance of" properties. Similarly for Q43627, which was changed by the same editor. I request that the rank be reduced to "normal". Kclisp (talk) 20:59, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Kclisp:: seems acceptable as mostly known as operating system. Still, I am pinging the author user:Genium--Estopedist1 (talk) 20:35, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but for example, the preferred rank makes it preferred over "proprietary software". These are two different aspects, and it seems to me that neither is "more correct" than the other. Kclisp (talk) 15:07, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes but it's part of the less known aspect of the narrative on this topic, contrary to GNU/Linux or BSD for which free software is a key part of their narrative. Genium. 23:37, Mar 29, 2024 (UTC+01:00)
