usage[edit]

Hi! Should there be a reference as "...use with 'instance of' (P31) ..."?
Schoulp it be used also at pages from the 'Help', 'Module', 'Portal' etc. namespaces?

We already had subclasses for Wikimedia template (Q11266439), Wikimedia module (Q15184295), Wikimedia category (Q4167836),
Portal: could be a subclass. Ah, it was discussed at Wikidata:Project_chat/Archive/2013/11#Instance_of:_Portal?, but I find that solution unsatisfactory, as it mixes concept with documentation (creative work) about the concept. I have created Wikimedia portal (Q15476144).
I have also created MediaWiki message (Q15475226) and MediaWiki file page (Q15475319) because they track very interesting sets of pages.
I think Help: and User: need to be part of Project:, as some projects will have the page in Help: and others will have the same page in Project: . For example Q12198503. Subpages can also be a subclass of subpage (Q7631805).

Namespaces in labels and aliases[edit]

Many entities of these have a specific namespace name in their labels or aliases, for instance "Wikipedia:Page name" or "WP:PN" (but also other projects), even though they are used in multiple projects. Should all these be converted to "Project:Page name", as I saw in some cases? Can that be done by a bot? --Nemo 10:50, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea. Bever (talk) 22:48, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
