@Magnus Manske, Harej: Shouldn't we merge this one with Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology (Q27725804)? Or are there any OpenCitation/Reinheitsgebot issues? — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 09:39, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- Apparently, I already asked about that on the other discussion page Talk:Q27725804 :) — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 09:41, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- I have merge the two items. Hope there is no problem. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 09:54, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- Fnielsen, I imagine there will be quite a few redundant entries for journals. Consolidate them if it seems reasonable. (Though as a fair warning, there are real world cases of two journals having the same name. I don't think this is such a case however.) Harej (talk) 12:04, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- Harej, thanks for the explanation. The problem here was not that they had the same name, - but rather that the journal has had different names (an thus different NLM and ISSN). From a Wikipedia point of view it makes sense to merge the journals, but I was unsure whether it is a good idea from a Wikidata point of view. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 16:09, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
