Homo sapiens - это не на русском --Fractaler (talk) 10:00, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Said to be the same as[edit]

@Infovarius: said to be the same as (P460) has description: "this item is said to be the same as that item, but it's uncertain or disputed". It's used when two things are probably but not certainly the same thing. Tol | talk | contribs 22:20, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tol: you are too strict - it's even used for Wikimedia duplicated page (Q17362920). But you are free to change this property to permanent duplicated item (P2959). --Infovarius (talk) 17:16, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Infovarius: Well, I'm not sure if permanent duplicated item (P2959) would be more applicable; it depends on what humans are defined as. I suppose it's fine. Tol | talk | contribs 18:18, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This should be merged with human[edit]

Humans and homo sapiens are the exact same thing!!!! How is this not obvious to people who write wikipedia? I quote the first line of the Wikipedia article on Human, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human: Humans (Homo sapiens) are the most abundant and widespread species of primate, characterized by bipedalism and large, complex brains. You can literally see they're the same thing! 2620:0:2820:2001:85D5:83F6:5BBD:4FA8 21:48, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To @infovarius, I deleted them because they are ridiculous in our language (Indonesian) and are not present on the en wiki.

For example, it’s written that "sumber dari (source from)" = breast milk, human skin, head hair, human organs.

What the heck is being implied there? that humans can be made via witchcraft? Cahyogunadi (talk) 10:02, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Cahyogunadi: then please adjust indonesian labels of the properties. The claim is: human is the source of (=gives) breast milk, human skin etc. --Infovarius (talk) 20:47, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What label is appropriate for grouping breast milk, human skin, human hair and human organs?
Like I said they’re not making sense in the first place, they’re making the article in our language looks ridiculous, on top of that there are no reference for them at all, and they’re not present on english wikipedia, hence it’s better to just remove them. Cahyogunadi (talk) 11:44, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What label?? E.g. "human products". English WP is not a high court and even not a source. These facts are backed up by common sense. --Infovarius (talk) 18:57, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Human skin, human hair and human organs are “human products”? If you really think that’s common sense and should be included, then why don’t you do that first on English WP or Wikipedia in your native language (Russian)? As a native Indonesian speaker, I think those entries (that are unsourced) are just absurd and better be removed. Cahyogunadi (talk) 15:16, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Probably the wording (of the property) is not very good enough for including it in ruwiki, and I don't edit enwiki. Human really products these things, how can you argue? Don't you personally produce skin or hair? --Infovarius (talk) 22:29, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
