The data item is not clear what should be indicated: the latin name? the generic variant? the red variant?
- It is the "beetroot cultivar group", comprising all root beet variants. Formerly beetroot was named by scientific names (Beta vulgaris subsp. rapacea and Beta vulgaris subsp. vulgaris var. conditiva) but today it is regarded as one cultivar group, the "Conditiva Group".[1] It has several subgroups for different colours. --Thiotrix (talk) 16:39, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
Root or plant
[edit]This item may suffer from disambiguation between the plant and eatable root. Shouldn't they be two items. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 20:01, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
