Does this item actually represent a real-world concept, and is it useful in any way? We could just say that association football club (Q476028) etc., are subclasses of sports club (Q847017) and skip this intermediate step. Wikidata isn't a category system. It's existence seems to cause a lot of confusion with people using it instead of association football club (Q476028), e.g., AR Freixieiro (Q923154) is an instance, but it's an association football club. - AR Freixieiro (Q923154) is a futsal club, it just had the wrong label. I haven't found anything that uses this item that isn't a futsal club, since the other football codes have their own items. Futsal has futsal team (Q16632355), but it's a conflation of team and club. Ghouston (talk) 21:59, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
