totally messed up item; restoring it back to it's original definition[edit]
This item (Q1779650) is kind of special: In the beginning it appears to be about a general "design engineer"; then some IP came switched the english label and the english wikipedia article to "structural engineer" (!?) which gave the item a whole new definition. Of course we already had a structural engineer at Q2305987. The "normal" design engineer we now have at Q28129958. The descriptions in all languages are also mixed. This is quite a mess to clean up.
I'll restore the original definition (design engineer). This one is also still in use in the majority of the languages. Then I'll merge it with the newer duplicate Q28129958. --Zaccarias (talk) 18:28, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- Done: I have checked all labels with Google Translator, all wikipedia pages and all other external identifiers. At least it is not messed up anymore.
- Done: I have also checked most of the biographical items linking to this item. Most of the time this item was used as a "design engineer". Only a few pages were using it as a "structural engineer": these I have fixed.
