Normally male name

[edit]

User:Aarp65, you were right when you marked this Turkish given name as "male given name". Normally it "is" a male name. Maybe Uygar Tamer (Q2504949) confused you; for me it also is a novelty to see a woman with this name. Everybody I know with the name Uygar are males. However, it does not sound strange with the Turco-Swiss actres, as uygar means "civilised" and women generally are more civilised. (No, I'm not making discrimination. How many women have we seen using violence on her husband? 1 vs 100?) Indeed I was more surprised to see that you left the item without the basic "instance of" element and that is why I am writing here and pinging you. We also have a "male name born by a female" thingy which could well be used for the actress. We had to wait until a red-link user who seem to promote unknown people on WD to add "given name" property to the item. When you have doubts about Turkish names please ask me. --E4024 (talk) 02:17, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
