Pakistan have no official democratic relations with Republic of China,Taiwan. Also there is no commercial or trade office of Taiwan in Pakistan. In 2005-2007, during the era of General Musharraf, a few Pakistani official have attended the meeting with Taiwanese officials and talked about the relations in education and Business. Some sources says that they were so close to have a free trade agreement. But the Pakistan have a long history of the Mainland China influence. Pakistan have accepted the Chinese stance on Taiwan and consider Taiwan as a part of PROC. The are many Pakistani citizens who got married in Taiwan and living there a peaceful life but they have neutralized their citizenship. A lot of Pakistani Masters, PhD level students are studying in Taiwan without the government level involvements. There have been seen a sudden increase in the number of students studying in Taiwan from 2010 to 2019. Almost 50 to 80 students are being enrolled in Taiwan in every Semester. There are many businessmen visit Taiwan for regional business exhibitions. Anyone can apply the Taiwan Tourist Visa, Student Visa, health Visa and business visa Taipei Economic and Cultural Offices in Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Malaysia. For the document attestation is only performed from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Offices, Hong Kong which takes two days usually for the attestation. The documents must have to attest from the Pakistan consulate in Hong Kong.
