Classification[edit]
Hi @GerardM:, you just removed a statement that probably resulted in data loss : this kind of awards are annual awards. It established this is a class of awards. I'll revert. author TomT0m / talk page 09:43, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
- I so disagree with you. Thanks GerardM (talk) 01:00, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- This is not helpful. author TomT0m / talk page 09:02, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- There are many awards by the APA and this is the only one linked to an unnecessary item that is of no apparent use. You persist in your folly and indeed that is not helpful. Thanks, GerardM (talk) 13:31, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- Gerard, there is many unanswered question in modelling awards. I raised some question and launched a WikiProject. The correct way to deal with problem is to discuss them, not to engage into a pointless discussion "you should do as I do because that's the correct way to do" which leads us nowhere. Wikidata is a global project and I'm trying to push some generic principles and make everyone agree on it to avoid territorial inconsistencies and disputes about the model to adopt. Please please participate on those discussions and try to listen the problem I raised on appropriate places so that we can move on. author TomT0m / talk page 13:38, 29 June 2016 (UTC)

- My mistake, you are modelling and you do not seem to care for the implications of what you do. All those additional nonsense do not make for easier queries, they do not make for multilanguage support. It is just something where you lack the answers. In the mean time I have been working on the data and I find it troubling that you who confess not to understand the issues force the upper hand by calling me first a troll, then uncooperative. Appropriate sure I have missed it as you have missed the constant nagging I have done when it is about awards. The notion that in language an award is ambiguous is also a beaut of an argument because that makes what you do even more ambiguous.
- You do not address any of the issues and you want me to talk in places that are completely unintelligible for the uninitiated.. I do not even appreciate that you understand the issues that I raised. Thanks, GerardM (talk) 21:19, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
