@Infovarius: I think physical quantities should not be subclasses of mathematical concepts. Otherwise you cannot be sure that subclasses of mathematical concepts don't contain real physical objects which are only described using mathematics. I know from some experience with category system in the German Wikipedia, that one has to be very strict, if one does not want that pats of aircrafts etc. end up in the mathematics or physics category tree.--Debenben (talk) 11:55, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
- Hm, I think that "physical quantity" is an abstract concept itself and it isn't "physical object". And abstract objects can be subclasses of abstract objects. --Infovarius (talk) 11:39, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Infovarius: Well, it can certainly be viewed this way, but it can also be viewed differently. I tried to demonstrate the problem by querying for mathematical concepts [1] and also for physical quantities [2]. Unfortunately there are so many problems (for mathematical concepts I get all sorts of transportation networks, for physical quantities all sorts of licences and Apollo missions) that linking physical quantities to mathematical concepts is certainly not the only problem.--Debenben (talk) 20:45, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
