de:Tränke is wrong here[edit]

wikipedia:de:Tränke is clearly wrong here, it is for animals for drinking (water) and this here is "to hold food to feed animals". I want to move this link to abreuvoir (Q7974157). There is also abreuvoir (Q932689) which is a quite confusing thing because its English description says it is for feeding but at least its English, French and Spanisch wikipedia pages are about watering, so abreuvoir (Q932689) should possibly merged with abreuvoir (Q7974157). wikipedia:de:Trog_(Behälter) from there may replace wikipedia:de:Tränke here, it does not fit exactly but better. May I do these replacements or is anyone against that or does anyone have a better idea? --Hufkratzer (talk) 17:44, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

de:Tränke has been moved. For the rest there is now an interwiki conflict. --Hufkratzer (talk) 17:34, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I moved wikipedia:de:Trog_(Behälter) from abreuvoir (Q932689) to here. Compare https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diskussion:Trog_(Behälter). --Hufkratzer (talk) 22:35, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I understand it, there is trough (Q17174430) as a generic term for a man-made receptacle for feeding animals or where they can drink. manger (Q2673976) is just holding food, watering trough (Q57007172) is just holding water. abreuvoir (Q932689) is also a place where animals can drink, this can be a watering trough (Q57007172), but not always. It could be something different, even something naturally occuring (e.g. a pond where animals are led to in order to drink). --Floscher (talk) 22:53, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
